Inspired by the halcyon days of Greek myth, Alkionides UK is dedicated to bringing light and comfort to low-income Cypriot patients and their families who come to the UK for medical treatment that is not yet available in Cyprus.

Our permanent base, the ‘Nest’, is a welcoming home in North London located close to major hospitals. It provides free accommodation and support for patients and their families during their treatment, offering not just a place to stay but a sense of warmth and community far from home.

The charity is run entirely by volunteers who devote their time and effort to helping families facing financial and medical hardship. With the support of sponsors and generous donors, we organise fundraising and cultural events to ensure that every contribution goes directly towards helping those in need.
